We Have Been Trained To Lose Faith In Ourselves

So… what if you already know?
After everything I wrote in my last post, a question kept coming up:
“Ok… but what do I actually do?”
And here’s the uncomfortable part:
👉 What if you already know?
Not in a loud, confident way.
But in those quiet moments where something feels right…
and you immediately talk yourself out of it.
Because somewhere along the way, you learned:
be practica
lbe responsible
don’t be selfish
don’t make a mess of things
don’t start over unless you’re sure
So instead of trusting that pull, you override it.
You second guess it.
You minimize it
You wait.
But that thing you keep coming back to?
The idea.
The change.
The shift.
👉 That’s not random.
That’s you.
It might not look logical. It might not feel “safe.”
It might not fit the life you built.
But neither does the life you’re in right now.
So maybe the problem isn’t:
“I don’t know what to do next.”
Maybe it’s:
👉 I don’t trust what I know.
And that’s a very different place to start.
Not from confusion.
But from learning how to listen again.
